The lens autofocus/motor failures are something to think about. I bought the new one because of failure about and the cost to repair.

a very good lens for the money.Should suit any keen amateur photographer and with VR fitted even grabbed shots should be shake free. When the lens did arrive it was in perfect condition and is working well. However,21DAYS is to long to wait in this day...
