I have taken around 50 or so photos with this lens and I think you get what you pay for. The photo quality is clear and good quality. Great for someone looking a starter telephoto lens or do not have a abundance of money to spend.

If you really don't need an expensive fast f2.8 300mm lens, then this is a good alternative. Most uses will be in daylight so the f5.6 should'nt be a problem. And I rarely have the need for a 300mm lens, so why pay the big money for it. It's not super...

Used with a D-50; good price compared to Nikon glass. Fast enough and lightweight. Internet purchase superior to shopping in brick-and-mortar Wolf store. Overall, I'm pleased.
