It is obviously a cute idea as you can see from the picture, but the sound is quite respectable. I was expecting the usual "tinny" garbage speakers, but these actually sound decent and have a little bass to them.

My wife collects panda items and is thrilled with this unit.

This is a neat and easy to use product for any family, especially those with small kids. Mine love it !!!! I wish the cable was a bit longer, but the short cable makes storing the speaker very easy.
