It's been two years since Wacom introduced the substantially redesigned Intuos4 . In the interim, the company has chosen to concentrate on refining the design and adding more market-friendly features rather than upping the operational sensitivity or...

The redesigned Wacom Intuos5 fixes some drawbacks from the already-excellent previous version, plus adds multitouch operation to an already impressive bag of input tricks.

There's still no interface for sharing/migrating saved settings or allowing third parties to provide preconfigured application-specific settings. Also, the heads-up display trigger is a little too sensitive.

Though it doesn't add any new graphics-specific capabilities over its predecessor, the Wacom Intuos5 input tablet remains a must-have for digital brushworkers.

Wacom ha anunciado la renovación de sus famosas tabletas Intuos, con el soporte multitáctil en su pantalla (hasta 16 puntos), que nos permite realizar gestos al mismo tiempo que puede ser utilizada con el puntero de la marca.

Los gestos son configurables, y también soportan los gestos estándares en los sistemas operativos OS X y Windows, siendo un complemento ideal al teclado y el ratón para movernos por el sistema.

Even with the annoying caveat of the Int3 stytluses not working with this, I have to say this is a great graphics tablet. I have use it for both photo editing and digital art creation. It's sensitivity is great, and most art programs have settings that...

Sensitive stylus, nice design, easy access controls, wireless function (optional) touch capable. Left & right handed position.

Touch option comes back on if battery comes out, of it unit unplugged. Battery life could be longer. Have to replace airbrush/art pens because Intuos3 styluses not compatible.
