240GB SSD

 

For starters you get a lot of storage for a reasonable price, I think I got this on sale too so it was even cheaper haha.

Died after 3-4 months of use.

Sped up 6-year-old eMachine Desktop

 

Used Acronius to clone factory Seagate HDD in Athlon II based eMachine desktop. Cloning went smooth as did install with 3.5 to 2.5 Rosewill HDD/SDD adapter. Boot time cut by about 50%. System sleep and other functions working fine for 30+ days.

Cost. On sale, this was a very competitive unit.

Warranty stickers were loose and not adhering to unit

Will not initialize

 

Wont even let me return it didn't need it till it was to late just wont buy team drives I huess only otherone gave me trouble was an first generation Kingston ssd surprised to get a dud!!

Can't use it for anything but paperweight???

Budget SSD

 

I will boot from this drive until I upgrade to an M2 and then use this for Adobe cache.

Noise??

 

Surprised me when it was so much lighter than my old SSD. Wonder what's missing from it. LOL That buzzing and whining sound is bothersome and pretty loud. I didn't find anyone talk in depth about this or if it's a concern.

Faster than my old sata2 SSD. It was pretty cheap after promo.

Great way to jump into an SSD. I'm using this as an OS drive for my media PC. I've never had an SSD fail on me. I will update here if I run into reliability issues.

Bought this to upgrade an aging laptop. Although I understood that in an older PC I will not reap the full benefits of an SSD simply because the bandwidth isn't there in the SATA connection. I have done the same now with 2 PC's and another laptop and...

Cheap

As others have said, the warranty stickers were already off and in the box when I opened the packaging. Hope they understand this if I ever need warranty return
