I did have my first one fail. However it was replaced and ran 100% since then. It failed on the first day with such a minor error that I almost didnt find it

I have one of these as my boot drive for my Win 7 system and using it for nearly 1.5 years. Now I just got another one for my new Mac mini as a boot drive. I love it! This is fast! Great drive

This drive only lasted about 2 weeks before it quit working. The drive just stopped working one day while booting up my computer. The drive was no longer recognized by the BIOS, even. I had even updated the firmware to the latest version

I get the BSOD problem as described by many. It happens at random intervals (mostly during idle periods of streaming media to another machine in my house). Contacted ADATA support and they recommended moving the firmware up to the 3.3.2 version....

No news here but this really speeds up your boot and shut down times, as well as loading programs and games much quicker. Price was right at 99 bucks, and right now the 120gb and 128gb drives are the sweet spot for cost vs storage space. Has enough...

Acronis software was pretty useless for me as it will not let you image a partition only an entire drive. Still will be useful for monitoring but you have to buy the full version if you want to copy partitions

I'm using this unit as a boot drive for Debian 6, works on the default debian kernel (2.6.32) and the newest vanilla (3.3.6) without a hitch. On Linux, you have to align the drive with fdisk before installing. You also gotta use Ext4 over Ext3, else...

My netbook boots up much quicker even on a SATA II (3.0 GB/s) data controller (about 40-50 Seconds loadtime), programs load much quicker, meet's my expectations, 120 GB is plenty of Storage for what most people use a netbook for
