Great machine.

 

Used for a secretary/creative assistant roll. All the requirements covered for years to come hopefully.

Quick, fast...

Win 8.1 (was immediately upgraded to 10, though, without any hiccups). 4 USB ports is kinda limiting but nothing a hub can't fix.

I've had this computer for a few months now and it runs fantastic. I use it to game and it performs great. Skyrim on 'Ultra' with HD textures and mods at 60 fps at 1080p. Shadow of Mordor, a relatively recent release runs on 'Very High' at an average...

-Easy to set up -Runs smooth and quiet and cool -Solid build -Runs games great

-Heavy, but unless you plan on moving it a bunch, not a big deal -Could use a few more USB ports, but not a big deal

Decent system for cost

 

I think one of the fans is having an issue, it's making a weird noise like there is a small piece of plastic stuck in the fan. I took it apart and found nothing though. Kinda sucks but it isn't worth sending it back for.

4790 (too bad it wasn't 4790k) Tons of HDD space, tons of ram

windows 8.1 - I am currently in the process of upgrading to 10 ( over 4 hours later... ugh)

Where is the VGA to HDMI cable?

 

because of not including a VGA to HDMI cable for connecting monitor to Desktop I could not use my system for 2 day! it is only 5$ extra to include that cable!!! Asus Inc don't be stingy please!

If you had a higher end video card, you will need to upgrade the power supply, but that is expected.

Decent value

Two gripes Lack of enough USB ports on the real, I usually add ports via an expansion card. The keyboard lettering is a white/gray and the letters don't stand out! I have had to replace 2 of the keyboard on systems that I have sold due to customer...

Not wanting for more!

 

Recommended buy for a game machine.

A great machine; leaves you feeling you got your monies worth plus not feeling you need more hardware. Whisper quiet Very little junk software pre-installed; this keeps performance high. Reasonable price.

Does not have a hard drive activity light; or I don't know how to turn it on.
